Kostantina voulgari is a screenwriter, director, and audio documentary creator with more than twenty years of professional experience across film, theatre, and storytelling. Her work focuses on research, historical memory, and transforming real-life and fictional narratives into compelling cinematic, theatrical, and audio experiences.
She wrote and directed the award-winning feature films Valse Sentimentale and Congratulations to the Optimists?, both produced by ERT (Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation) and the Greek Film Centre, and screened at international film festivals across Europe, North America, South America, and Australia. Her work also includes documentaries and theatre productions exploring history, memory, and contemporary social issues.
In recent years, she has been teaching screenwriting and dramaturgy at the “10th” Theatre School, while creating podcasts and audio documentaries for media organizations and cultural institutions, including the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation. She holds a degree in Cinematography from the Stavrakos Film School and an MA in Screenwriting from the National Film and Television School (NFTS), UK.
