She was born in Athens, Greece. She studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece and at the Drama School of the Piccolo Teatro di Milano.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with distinguished directors including Peter Stein, Serena Sinigaglia, Robert Carsen, Lefteris Vogiatzis, Yannis Houvardas, Michail Marmarinos, Katerina Evangelatos, Lydia Koniordou, Konstantinos Rigos, Dimitris Lignadis, Vangelis Theodoropoulos, Hector Lygizos, Tomaz Pandur, Konstantinos Markoulakis, Stathis Livathinos, Maria Protopappa, Nikos Karathanos, and Odysseas Papaspiliopoulos.
She has performed leading roles in major productions, including Electra by Sophocles, Trisevgéni by Kostis Palamas, The Good Person of Szechwan by Bertolt Brecht, Miss Julie by August Strindberg, and many others. She has appeared at some of the most prestigious theatrical venues, including the National Theatre of Greece, the Onassis Stegi, the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, the National Theatre of China, and the Piccolo Teatro di Milano.
She received the Melina Mercouri Award and the Karolos Koun Award for her performance as Electra in Sophocles’ Electra, directed by Peter Stein. She was also awarded the Second Prize for Best Actress at the Athinorama Audience Awards for her performance in The Good Person of Szechwan, directed by Katerina Evangelatos.
In cinema, she received the Best Actress Award at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival for her performance in J.A.C.E., directed by Menelaos Karamaggiolis, and has starred in five additional feature films.
Since 2009, she has been teaching acting at leading drama schools, including the Athens Conservatoire, as well as at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Theatre Studies.
