Ioanna Toubakari was born in Athens in 1980.
She graduated with distinction from the Greek National School of Dance (Kratiki Scholi Orchistikis Technis). She continued her studies at the London Contemporary Dance School.
She has collaborated with various choreographers and directors in performances in Greece and abroad.
In 2023, she appeared in Sofia Exarchou’s film Animal.
She holds a black belt and 1st Duan in Wushu Kung Fu, as well as a coaching diploma issued by the General Secretariat of Sports.
Since September 2020, she has been the head coach at the Esoteriki Grothia (Inner Fist) Athletic Club.
In recent years, she has been teaching Kung Fu at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece.
